About me and us
I am Jan Bos and am a pilot at Martinair. After starting gliding when I was 15 years old, my passion for aviation grew. I am very grateful and happy that I have been able to achieve my dream!
My passion for motorcycles came around the age of 22 and after getting my driver’s license I had several different motorcycles, until…… I got the chance to buy a nice Ducati 996! A real circuit bike, which has now made way for a Multistrada.
In 2014 I fell in love with Andrea and in 2016 we moved to Rome, where we had a fantastic time and now we live on the golf course of Monticello in northern Italy.

My life started in Harskamp, a small village in the Netherlands. Passionate about flying, motorcycling and traveling and father of two fantastic kids.
After my flight training, I was able to fly the Boeing 767 and then fly the MD11 at Martinair. I’ve seen the company grow up and then shrink back to what it is today. Right now, I’m captain on the Boeing 747.
In 2014 I met the love of my life, Andrea, and since 2016 we live “la dolce vita” in Italy. First we lived in Rome, what a cool city that is! Recently we moved to northern Italy and now live on a golf course.

Born in Santiago de Chile, lover of art and creations. Mother of two amazing kids and as Jan said, in 2014 our lives changed. Crossing my way with this incredible Dutchman, discovering true love and moving to Italy makes me just grateful for life and all it bestows on us every day. Our passions are almost the same, the engines, the travel, good gastronomy and the adventure. I myself teach via EL BLOG DE PIA believing in the magic and creating your reality as I learned it……
